Canadian whole lobsters are not only delicious, but fun to eat. Each one pound lobster is fully cooked. All you have to do is thaw under refrigeration for 24 hours and serve. If you perfer to serve hot, just heat in oven or steam.

Ingredients:  Canadian lobster

Preparation Instructions:  Keep frozen until ready to prepare.  Defrost under refrigeration for 24 hours or under cool slow running water until thawed.

 

Broil: Preheat broiler. Split whole lobster from head to tail lengthwise. Spread lobster open and remove stomach section from head portion and rinse whole lobster well under cold running water. Place split lobster on nonstick sheet pan. Lightly oil or use clarified butter on lobster. Season as desired. Place under broiler and broil for 4-6 minutes being careful as to not burn shell. Remove from broiler and let stand for 2-3 minutes before serving.  

Boiled: Bring a large stockpot of water along with 1-2 tablespoons of salt to a boil. Carefully add whole lobster to boiling water. Let reheat for about 2-3 minutes. Remove from water, letting excess water drain. Let stand for 2-3 minutes then serve.

Note: Lobsters are fully cooked and can be consumed cold or reheated.
