Ingredients:  Beef

Preparation Instructions:  For best results thaw under refrigeration.  Use within 5 - 7 days.  Cook steak according to a cooking or meat thermometer rather than a time table.  Remove steaks from grill, pan, or oven 5 degrees before desired doneness.  Let steak rest 5-10 minutes before serving. 


Rare:  125 – 130 degrees

Medium Rare:  130 -145 degrees

Medium:  140 – 145 degrees

Medium Well:  150 – 160 degrees

Well:  160 – 170 degrees

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! When my order came my husband was home. We opened our boxes together. He pulled out these steaks and said "this is what a good steak is supposed to look like!" I then decided that was what we were having for dinner that day! They melt in your mouth!!

NY Strip Steak Tacos

Prep Time: 20-25 minutes

2 (8 ounce) Organic NY Strip Steaks*, thawed, 2 tsp Grapeseed or Vegetable Oil, 1 pint Grape Tomatoes, halved, 2 Tbsp Red Onions, minced, 1 Tbsp Fresh Cilantro, chopped, 2 tsp Olive Oil, Juice of ½ Lime, Salt and Pepper, to taste, 8 Corn Tortillas

1. Season steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Preheat a pan over medium-high heat. Add grapeseed oil and sear steaks in hot pan on all sides for 7 minutes (total cooking time). Allow meat to rest while preparing the remaining ingredients. 2. In a medium sized bowl, combine tomatoes, onions, cilantro, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper. In a dry pan over medium-low heat, warm the tortillas. 3. Slice the meat on the bias against the grain and serve atop the tomato salad in the tortilla. *Also works with Upper 2/3 Choice, Prime, Dry Aged and Kobe Strip Steaks as well as Flat Iron, Ribeye and Top Sirloin Steaks

Rosemary and Garlic New York Strip Steak

Ingredients: • 2, 10 oz Prime New York Strip Steaks • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil • 4 Tbsp Butter • 1 tsp Coarse Ground Salt • 1 tsp Coarse Ground Pepper • 1 tsp Garlic Powder • 2 Sprigs Fresh Rosemary

Preparation: 1. Season Steak evenly with Olive Oil, Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder. Remove leaves from one sprig of Rosemary, leaving the other whole. 2. In a large saute pan, soften Butter over medium heat. Add whole sprig of Rosemary and turn heat to high. 3. When butter bubbles, add Steak. Sprinkle with remaining Rosemary leaves and sear for 6 minutes on the first side and 4 minutes on the other basting continuously with Butter. 4. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes. Serve with your favorite sides.

BBQ New York Strip Steak

A quick and easy way to make a tasty, tender steak on the grill! Marinate for a minimum of 2 hours.

Serves: Recipe Yield 4 servings
Prep Time: 2 Hrs 30 Min

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup minced garlic 1/4 cup steak seasoning 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning 4 (1/2 pound) New York strip steaks

1.In a bowl, mix the olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, steak seasoning, red wine vinegar, basil, and Italian seasoning. Pour into a large resealable plastic bag. Pierce steaks on all sides with a fork, and place in the bag. Gently shake to coat. Seal bag and marinate steaks a minimum of 2 hours in the refrigerator. 2.Preheat grill for high heat. 3.Lightly oil the grill grate. Discard marinade. Place steaks on the grill, and cook 7 minutes on each side, or to desired doneness.
